Banjole, a fishing village with a naturally protected port, was established in Roman times, and today has 700 residents. The settlement is located on a small peninsula where all lovers of the sea, sailing and fishing dream of living. The residents of Banjole are today closely tied to the sea, so that fresh fish are an everyday gift. Almost every house offers a room or two or a well-furnished apartment for tourists.
Nature has endowed this region with many small coves and peninsulas, as well as natural beaches, and people added such features as tennis courts, hiking and bicycle paths, motor and sailboat rentals and other water sports.

Banjole is a small fishing and tourist village on the southern part of peninsula Istria, 7 km from Pula, a village which name dates back from Roman times when the “little beaches” were built here. In Kanalic Bay you can find remains of the walls of St. Michael’s Church (7th-8th centuries). The church walls were decorated with pilaster strips. Here you will find numerous cozy romantic restaurants offering fish specialties, international specialties, as well as home cooking. The host is very friendly and approachable. The apartment is ideal for a family with a small child. All infrastructure is nearby, you practically don’t need a dog or a car. Three beaches available, each with its own advantage. The biggest advantage of the apartment is the great atrium, just the right size, in the shade even when it’s the hottest.

A very lovely, quiet, and peaceful place; the owner, Daniel, is incredibly kind, cheerful, and friendly… there is a spacious, luxurious living room with a bar counter connecting to the kitchen and a beautiful terrace; everything is spotless. A fantastic pizzeria is just about 100 meters away, serving excellent food at great prices—for pizza lovers and connoisseurs, the pizza is absolutely perfect! About 200 meters away, there is a beach with fine pebbles (roughly 1 cm in size) and beautiful, clear water… the area includes an inflatable water park, an outdoor bar serving various drinks and draft beer, and a shop offering treats for kids, ice cream, and more.

We lacked nothing! We even borrowed a hair dryer free of charge. You can shop and eat in the immediate vicinity. The beach can be reached in 2 minutes and is laid out with fine gravel on the left-hand side. The right side is natural with beautiful walking paths. In the area there are countless natural beach sections for every heart’s content. We will be back definitely.

We enjoyed our stay very much in the apartment A3+1. Before entering the house there is a terrace which is not in the picture so in the evening you could sit by the barbecue. The owner pleasant sympathetic surroundings pleasant quiet against the pizzeria. I would love to go back there
